Family man

For Those who care…..

I thought I’d write a post on what has been going on with my new family. Georgia has been three for just over three months and in that time she has given up the binki, and has become fully potty trained. She is such a big girl. She is a spoiled only child (for now at least).

We put in to what housing calls porting into Dallas. We have not gotten a letter for our meeting yet, and it has put both Christina and I on edge a lil. To be honest i am afraid we will not get our voucher in time. We found a place called White Rock Hills Town Homes. We  found a two bed two bath that fits our rental agreement here in Ft Worth. We are looking at the two bed two bath with a washer and dyer hook up seeing we may get more money to work with.  I was just looking at some floor plans as I type this if we can I’d like to get a three bed two bath. I think it would be cool to have a extra bedroom so bands could have there own place to stay.

I am excited about this move for a few reasons:

      1. Christina has a better chance trying to find a job that is close to where we live.
      2. Georgia can finally go to pre-school. We found a place that looks promising.
      3. I am close to down town so I will be able to get out, and see shows. As well I will 
          get to hang out with my “friends” that live in the Dallas area more. I will also get
          to go to more sporting events when the time and finances will allow me to.

We all have our good days, and our bad. That is what this new family is showing me how to deal with in a positive way every day.
